Massage is very well suited to treat Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. It is a noninvasive, inexpensive treatment and is very relaxing to the client while promoting good circulation. We begin by bringing down the swelling in the muscle tissue, which can immediately relieve the pain. Muscle tension is soothed by massaging the forearm flexors, then a combination of pressure and stretching is used to increase the pliability of the tendons. The nerve will then become less irritated and there is an increase in elasticity of the wrist’s tendons/ligaments, thus preventing decompression on the nerve in the future. All this and more for 1$/minute; minimum 15 minutes.
